Why Aren't More Americans Coming to Christ? Could it be that our presentation of the Gospel has become politically correct, but lacks resurrection power? A politically correct Gospel minimizes the reality that we all are sinners who need a Savior. Until I realized I was sick, I had no need of a cure. As evangelist Ray Comfort says: If people don't know the plane they are on is going to crash, then why do they need a parachute? The Heaven video "un-saves" people first. If people accept Christ to make their lives better, then they are in for disappointment as soon as trouble begins. They will abandon this "lite" brand of Christianity.
